(I wanted something very simple to blog about this morning since I have a busy day ahead, so I thought why not start a list of birds that I see in my backyard -- my computer desk is located at a window where I can see my bird feeders, bird bath, and part of the garden and deck. How is this related to miniature hostas you may well ask -- but, dear reader, as I note in the blog description, this blog also treats "various and sundry other topics." Consider this frolic in detour the first one of them!)
